Is anyone familiar with this area of New Orleans? I am looking into staying at the Frenchmen Orleans at 519 and was hoping someone might be able to tell me something about this area.

I don't know 519 (an address? Name of a hotel?) The area is called the Marigny. Great part of town, lots of art, music, and restaurants, away from the Quarter craziness, but close enough to walk there if you want. Bicycle rental nearby. Pm me and I'll be glad to give you all kinds of info on places in the immediate area. I know it well.
