Remember way back, before you joined BWW, there was a place were you spent an awful lot of time... it felt good, it was healthy, it put color in your cheeks.
It was the place your Mother ordered you to go to when she thought you were watching too much TV.
Fresh Air and Sunshine... where the only boards were in your front porch and the only posts were holding up the flowers in your flower bed!
So, please, let's try and recapture some of that Fresh Air and Sunshine magic, anyone else remember? Anyone...
Before I joined BWW, I was sick and thought for a while I was going to die so I wasn't getting too much fresh air and sunshine.
But Matt,
If you were sick, fresh air and sunshine would've helped! :)
Not in this case, M_E.
What makes you think I got outside before I found this board? The internet was invented some years ago, and TV even before that.
Rath hasn't been outside since the talkies came around.

I've been outside today. It's cold. Coldcoldcold. And overcast. So I think I'll stay in.
That, and I'm literally up to my knees in homework. Seriously.
Just wait till you get here, Matt. I'm so gonna beat you down.
Matt,
Are you implying that Rath was around in 1927 [year "Talkies" came out]?
Don't encourage him, Mary.
I'm not saying anything except Rath was upset they didn't offer a senior discount when she saw THE JAZZ SINGER.
Well when I dated Lillian Gish she told me you used to babysit her.
I've gotta tell you Mary_Ethel, that I find your "get a life" dictums increasingly irritating. Physician, heal thyself.
Lillian Gish's father was an alcoholic.
I hear Matt and he were drinking buddies.
I heard they were more than that. I heard he might actually have been Lillian's father.
I was born in 1978 in the time of THE SMURFS and HE-MAN. You were born in the time of the wheel and of fire.
Don't be mean to me just cuz you be jealous.
Jealous?! You know you would kill for my acquired wisdom and laugh lines.
Pardon me, iflit, but I was just "waxing nostalgic" for fresh air and sunshine--just like I might chat about musicals from The Golden Age.
I apologize if my posts were misunderstood.
My intent was NOT for anyone to actually STEP outside.
I hope this clears it up for you! :)
Matt,
Are you telling us that the TV Series HAPPY DAYS is OLDER than you?
Well, Matt, that clears up a LOT for me.
