Posted: 9/9/08 at 9:40pmI liked it. LOST meets TWILIGHT ZONE. Impressive ensemble cast, and good to see Blair Brown. But anything that brings back Joshua Jackson is going to be worth watching anyway.

I did and I have to say I am hooked. That beginning was crazy!!! It was a cross between x files, csi, house, and has mythology like lost. Can't wait to watch again next week
Liked the cast and the overall production as well

Posted: 9/9/08 at 9:42pmI feel like i'm going to have to watch the pilot episode a few more times to get everything... but i really enjoyed the show... yeah i'm definitely hooked...

I watched, knowing if it was as good as I was hoping, I'd be addicted.
And I can't afford to be addicted to anymore T.V. shows right now.
But, yes, I watched, and now I'm hooked.
The opposite of creation isn't war, it's stagnation.

Posted: 9/9/08 at 10:47pm(spoilerish question) did anyone hear exactly what Scott said to Dunham after the car chase? I had a hard time understanding...

I just hope it doesn't turn into another Lost. I can't handle 2 mentally draining shows. My head starts to hurt.
They already use the same music composer and the same creepy bald guy...

Posted: 9/10/08 at 11:08amWhen I saw the first scene was an airplane, I went "Oh, no," but they seem to be tying up some plot lines in a single episode. We already know what the over-all arc is - don't want to do a spoiler on that.

"and the same creepy bald guy... "
Who would that be?
I was actually going to wait until this one came out on DVD to watch it, but based on what all of you have said, I might have to check it out sooner.

Wow. I'm so hooked to this show.
It's creepy, but oh so interesting.
And right after House? You can't beat it.

Posted: 9/16/08 at 10:44pmI like it too, but I really need to get off the computer and pay more attention when it's on.

Loved it.
The opening kinda freaked me out but I loved it
Was Elizabeth Stanley the second girl who was killed in the episode. The one who he showed the bridge to? The eyeball thing grossed me out as well

Posted: 9/17/08 at 10:27amLOL! Yeah, I'm pretty squeamish, so I was wincing at a lot of that stuff.

Have you noticed the low-commercial format?
It's one of two shows FOX is airing this season in the format, and testing for ad effectiveness.
Dollhouse will debut early in the new year, and looks interesting, also.
Fox goes Sci-Fi to measure 'Fringe' ad effectiveness

I agree, Shira. I loved the pilot and still think it's the best episode yet.

Posted: 11/16/08 at 1:27pmI'm having trouble getting involved in this series, even though I like Joshua Jackson and it is fun to see Michael Cerveris in an apparently recurring role. I am getting fonder of THE MENTALIST. Thank goodness for TiVo!

I love 'Fringe'. :3 I don't think I've banged on about it here as much as I have on LJ, so possibly I'm not being a broken record when I say I only started watching it for Kirk Acevedo (he is SO pretty :3), but I really enjoy it. I don't think it's the best series ever made, and some of the Bad Science is SO BAD that even *I* get mad at the screen, but it's fun. Walter may be very self-consciously wacky, but John Noble pulls it off very well. Peter's continual stream of snark pleases me no end; it's nice to know that the writers are fully aware that the audience may not be taken in, so the shout-outs of snarkiness are awesome. Jean the cow is also a little too self-consciously wacky, but dammit, I like having her there. :3
... I just wish Acevedo got more screentime. He's too pretty to be given two minutes of exposition every week then shunted to the side again.
