I believe fruitcaking is when someone gives you a fruitcake and you really don't want it so you give to to someone else as a gift. So forth and so on.

There are some people in the world who feel there is only one fruitcake in the world and it just keeps getting passed from one person to another.

I realize that isn't true because Albin is a real fruitcake and no one seems to be passing him around these days.
