Funding for a free theatre class for special needs kids?

Hey guys,
The non-profit I work for, in conjunction with a community theatre, is in the planning stages of an acting class for kids with autism. It's part of a class series that this theatre presents. We're starting with one class for higher functioning kids in the fall. Hopefully we can branch into two classes in the spring, one for higher and one for lower functioning kids. I am really excited about the project.
Now we just need funding. Both parties involved are experienced in grant writing, but we each have our field of expertise. Would anyone have any tips for foundations that might be interested in helping us out or a direction we should head in?
Thanks so much in advance for any help. :)

You might try touching base with the Shubert Foundation, they give out a lot of grant money. I'm not sure if your group would qualify for one of their grants, but they might be able to steer you to another organization that could possibly give you a hand.

Im running out the door right now, but I am a part of a similar theatre group, drop me a PM, we'll brain storm.
Shuberts do fund a lot, but they told me we were not a large enough organization for their tastes.
