"Tennessee Republican Kelly Keisling forwarded an e-mail from a conservative blogger to his constituents which alleged that President Obama would attempt to stage an assassination attempt on his life in an effort to keep the 2012 presidential election from happening"

A little decoding:

"civil unrest in urban areas" = black people with guns

"it has not been confirmed but likewise . . . it has not been denied" = "I just made it up."

Sounds to me a bit like Harry Reid's "someone" told me Mitt hasn't paid his taxes in 10 years.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Sounds more like someone just finished reading the Lawrence Alexander novel "Rubicon"

The plot of that book is exactly what is being proposed. The election has to be postponed until a safe(r) time and in the book the current president is the only one who can announce when the danger time has past.

They forgot the part where Joe Biden's mother says "Rallying a nation of television viewers to hysteria, to sweep us up into the White House with powers that will make martial law seem like anarchy!"
