Al Lewis died. I used to run into him all the time downtown.
He was such a nice man.
He will be missed.

my partner, and his family, used to go to his restaurant and Al was always there....

He was never not standing there no matter what night, what day of the week, what month or year.

I always found that very impressive. And he was quite avuncular.

Steve said he was just so normal, no Hollywood attitude, just a real down-to-earth kinda guy.
