http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/3285984/ I was just about to enter the Barnes & Noble when I heard a commotion behind me. I stepped backward to see what it was. I only saw a few people starting to fight with a large group circling them to watch.
So I walk inside the B&N and another customer is exiting. "You don't wanna go out there," I said jokingly. Just seconds later, the same guy runs backs into the B&N and tells everyone to stay in the store until police arrive. Man, the sounds we heard from inside. It makes sense now that it was 200-300 people -- I only saw about 20 earlier!
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
