You just need to shop around a little--it's VERY cheap in Dallas!

Gas is definitely expensive here... but if you go about an hour away to New Haven, it's cheaper. Go figure.

Doesnt NJ (for all you fellow jersey posters here) have one of the lowest gas prices? AND we dont have to pump it ourselves!

Yes it is a law in NJ that you can't pump your own gas. I've never figured out whether that law is to keep jobs in the state or protect gas stations from people pumping and not paying.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

There's a law in Texas that says you must address any group of two or more as "Y'All."

Well that was disappointing, I thought this could be so much different but you meant ACTUAL gasoline.

It does hurt to pay gas prices. I just figure I have to pay it no matter what it is anyway. Maybe I should move to Jersey...I never pump my own gas. All the gas stations by my house have both self serve and make-the-gas-man-do-it-for-you sides.

Mary_Ethel, I've also heard rumor that if you're trying to address more than one group with a single statement, the plural version must be used: "All y'all".

Actually if you adjust for inflation over the years, gas is not expensive at all when you talk about the percentage of a person's income it takes to buy gas. http://inflationdata.com/Inflation/Inflation_Rate/Gasoline_Inflation.asp
