Let's make a Deal was created by Monty Hall and Stefan Hatos, both of whom were happily married family men. Incidentally, their version of the show featured audience members dressed formally (suits and dresses) who were chosen at random to play. The wild costumes evolved over time as audience members resorted to more outrageous outfits to get chosen.
