Perhaps Matt didn't get the former President of the United States 'riled up' out of respect for the Office of the President.

Taking the high road has been known to happen.

3.5 hours of interviewing and Bush got emotional about Kanye? And Lauer sounds like a guidance counselor chiding a bully about taking Bush's lunch money.

Sigh. Bush must not realize how hated a president he was, or he's playing the 'poor me' card because it worked when he was growing up and really wanted something shiny from mumsy and popsicle.

I'm not wondering why Matt didn't get Bush riled up...I'm wondering why Matt didn't get riled up at some of Bush's ridiculous answers...but got so incensed by Kanye West.
