My bedroom used to be haunted for about a year and a half. At night I'd always hear weird noises. Like there would be footsteps and the floor would creak, but no one was there. And sometimes I'd hear what sounded like fingers tapping on the wall or the foot of my bed. Once and awhile the end of the bed would creak and it felt like someone was sitting on the bed near my feet. The scariest thing was when it sounded like the ghost was scratching the screen on my window. That used to really freak me out, because it would go on for up to an hour sometimes. At first it was really scary to sleep in there, but after awhile it didn't bother me so much. I'm pretty sure it was a friendly ghost. :) I used to say hello to it when I went into my room, and then sometimes there would be a tapping or something in response. It's not in my room anymore though.... once I told my friends about it, it kind of disappeared.

My other ghost experiences were on the Queen Mary ship in Long Beach. That boat is RIDICULOUSLY haunted!! We went on this tour that took us into the pool area, which is supposedly the most haunted section of the whole ship, and after about 2 minutes we had to evacuate because someone had pulled the fire alarm, but there was no one near the alarm. Then later I was walking through a hallway, and there was a door with a tinted window. I heard someone knock on the door, but no one else was there but me. Then the light inside that room behind the door switched on, and i heard music and lots of people talking. I guess the ghosts were having a party. :) I thought it was pretty amusing. I think I saw a ghost in my room when I stayed overnight on the ship too. It was a woman in a big hat and a fancy dress. She disappeared after a few seconds and at first I thought I just imagined it, but I'm pretty sure she was really there.

Darling,

The ship is ALOMST as fake as Disney's Haunted Mansion.

Most of those things were mechanical devices that are in place to make the ship seem more haunted.

My friend Chris and I were convinced his house was haunted when we were little. We'd be in the back yard on the swings when nobody else was home, and the curtains of his house would move and a face would be looking out at us. The ghost's name was Henry, but I'm not sure how we knew that. We were always positive that Henry was around, though. There was never any doubt about it.

My old middle school is a really, really old building with asbestos in the basement (which we call the dungeon) and a room filled to the ceiling with dirt and other creepy stuff. A bunch of us kids were down there after school, getting costumes for a play, when we saw a guy in the next room over. We freaked! Every one of us screamed and ran from there like the wind. We saw the guy a couple more times during the course of the play, and we knew it wasn't a real person. Freaky!
