A friend of mine was at the game and said that it was poorly officiated AND the better team won.

I only got to see the first quarter, and I thought that the refs spotted the Giants seven on the first drive in a three-step process:

1. No call on an intentional grounding that WAS.
2. Calling an offside that WASN'T.
3. A first down that depended SOLELY on the spot.

And that was three plays in a row!

However, giving up a touchdown in 46 seconds after taking ten-and-a-half minutes off the clock in the second quarter didn't help either ...
