Great game!
There's going to be alot of energy going into the Superbowl... should be one of the better match-ups in Superbowl history!
Can't wait!

I went to graduate school at Ole Miss. Also, had season tickets for all of Eli's home games there. Am a Manning Family Fan. I was too young to remember Archie at Ole Miss, but I watched him many Sunday afternoons with my dad.
Having said all that, I lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast - just miles from The Kiln, and lived there from 1987 through 1991 - Favre's time at Southern Miss - I knew how to pronounce Farve way before the rest of the US - am a huge fan of his!
So, I was torn last night! Glad to see Eli coming on. People forget that Payton was not the best quarterback the world has ever seen his first few years in the NFL. In fact, he was an interception god for a while. There was an old story at Ole Miss that Payton and Eli would talk every week while Eli was in college. They discussed strategies, and the warning was always you gotta look for the weak side safety. He'll intercept every time if you aren't aware. The response was, "Thamks, Eli, I'll keep that in mind." So anyway - here's to Eli becoming the quarterback we all knew he would be. Here's to the Mannings who nurtured the talent in their and raised good men (including Cooper), and here's to Brett - thanks for the good years and best of luck.

the really good thing is, we came out with only minor bumps and bruises. No one re-injured or got seriously hurt. We should have a pretty healthy team in AZ. That was my biggest fear on that field last night.

"Drinking tea to get my voice back but its a good hurt."
I was with you last night, Wexy.
I agree, it should be a great superbowl. I think the 13 spread is a little unfair to the G-men, as they have won 10 straight road games, and were up 12 over the Pats at one point in their last meeting, but oh well.
If I were the Pats, I'd be worried. Of course they're the favorite, but the Giants played them fantastic last time, and are on such a roll of doing everything right...I think if Brady and Moss were as off the last game against the season as they were in yesterday's game, the G-men would have taken it. I don't think the Pats have a huge margin for error -- not as much so as everyone seems to believe they do.

Sorry for being late to the party, but ...
Did anyone else hear Favre say, "I am proud of you" to Manning after the game? Although I did not hear what preceded it, I found this very touching.
As a Cowboys fan, I say ...
GO GIANTS!
My dad taught us that, if you lose in the playoffs, you root for the team that beat you so that you can say you got beat by the best. Besides, I think a Giants win is a much better story than a win for the undefeated Patriots.

If I solely go on the hotness factor, I go Eli over Tom. Even though Eli soemtimes looks handicapped when he poses.
I live in NYC. I gotta go Giants.

I have to say, even though I am whole-heartedly a giants fan, I've always been a fan of and heavily respect Brett Favre. I'm not at all shocked that he would Eli he's proud of him, he's always struck me as a class act, one who heavily respects all the players. He will sorely be missed when he decides to retire, but I'm glad so many records stand with such a stand-up guy.
That having been said, go giants, so glad they beat him :-P
