I was going to post that a few days ago saying I knew you wouldn't be able to resist it but then I got 420'ed up and forgot.

How do you feel about Berlin, Namo? I think No More Words is a terrific song. I wish they had worked with Moroder more.

I love this mix, half despite myself. He also produced several tracks on Avicii's new album (if that's even how you spell his name) which means I'll finally have to listen to him.
Regardless, it's great to hear him doing good work again. Right before he kinda retired from music he was producing crap (which I, of course, still had to buy.) Songs like Like a YoYo or the Forever Dancing disco remix album. Terrible dance stuff.
The track he did for Chrome (and some video game?) last Spring, Racer, is terrific moody synth stuff, just exactly what I love from him. It's almost like an update of The Chase mixed with his Valley of the Dolls track from the Foxes soundtrack. Apparently it will be on a new album of his own work he's doing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YT0k99hCY5I
I love Berlin--and it's too bad he only did No More Words, Take My Breath Away and the so so Dancing in Berlin for them. Nunn was asked about her Moroder connection recently--she mentioned how when she had a role in the (wonderful/horrible) disco flick Thank God it's Friday she had met him, and then her label brought him in for their 1983 album but he was so in demand they could only afford to have him do, two tracks (Dancing and Words.) Then in 1986 she submitted a demo of Take My Breath Away when they were trying to find singers for it (David Geffen had turned it down for Donna Summer as he did a few earlier Moroder tracks) and she was picked, but Moroder had zero idea who she was or that he had worked with her before.

My favorite underrated Georgio Gem: "Here She Comes" by Bonnie Tyler
