This is a website that helps you decide which presidential candidate has similar views to yours. All you do is do a simple ranking of important issues and then you answer a quick issues-based survey. It doesn't take long at all. After answering all the questions, it will tell you the top 3 candidates who have similar views to your own. It's really worth your time. mom

Wow, that is so bizarre.

Two of my three top candidates are the two candidates on the Democratic side that I simply can't stand, John Edwards and Bill Richardson.

The third, of course, was Kucinich.

I got Mike Gravel (81%), Dennis Kucinch (80%) and John Edwards (76%).

Then Obama was 75% and Clinton 71%.

I just took Votematch.org's test and got completely different results. My tops were Gravel, Obama and Kucinich. Edwards and Richardson were significantly down on that list. Funny thing is, the lowest one on that list was Huckabee, who I matched with 5% of the time.

See- isn't it interesting! It's non-biased because it is based on issues only. I got Dodd- 87%, then Biden, then Obama. My husband got Obama first, then Edwards. Even my daughter got Dodd- of couse she is only 13- she put strongly agree on gay marriage as well as I. My guess, if you put strongly agree on this issue, you won't get a Republican candidate. Still, it's a fun site. Thanks for going to it. mom

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."
