Amen, Stephanie. I've embraced the fact that I'm a theatre nerd and I've learned that there isn't anything wrong with it. It's like calling a sports guy a jock... Do you really think he's going to be offended if you call him a jock?

the ONLY nerds here, are the idiots who call themselves nerds because they love theater......if you think loving theater is nerdy, GET ANOTHER HOBBY toots! That just says you don't even respect yourself enough to love what you love.....


I love theater.....and that has nothing to do with being a nerd.
What HAS something to do with being a nerd, is ONLY being able to talk about the same damn musical over and over and over.

This thread should have been flushed hours ago.....

CRAIG, JOSE, PLEASE......start a seperate Wicked Board for the Nerds.......

Theatre isn't my hobby, it's my life.

I think being a theatre nerd is a compliment. To me being a "nerd" is knowing a lot about a subject and/or loving it a bit much. I use it as a term of endearment :)

Seriously, you guys take things too seriously.

yes I like to think of myself as child-like. I do love Disney. I have not been corrupted by many of the evils of adulthood so...that's nice :)

Nor would I want to know you or for you to know me. I believe that even with my use of OMG, Totally, like, and awesome, I've still shown more maturity than those who post "God ANOTHER Wicked thread" when all they had to do was not click on the thread to begin with.

Unfortunetly for me steph, i- although i like to consider myself a proud theatre nerd (i wear a shirt that says 'i can't tonight..i have rehearsal') i am not enough of a nerd to know the answer you seek of :P

Steph, you will never make it in the "Biz" until you realize that people are kidding and you learn to laugh with them.Trust me, you will look back at this thread in a few years and see how silly your obsession with WICKED is. You are the one taking things too seriously. Get some skin or they will eat you up.

Oh trust me Suleen, none of this thread actually bothered me! and I've had waaaaaaaay more criticism and hurtful things said to me than anything remotely said on here :)

It's all good, and there's not much that can bother me...
