Golden Girls Trivia Question

Here's a good piece of Golden Girls trivia(I guess it's trivia)......

How many times were they going to get married??????

There are so many times when they were thinking that someone was going to propose them, there were a few weddings, ect......

Here's the catch, I don't have the answer, but I was thinking that someone on here might have a guess, there are a lot of fans on here!!!!!!

Good lord. I would guess around 8 times between the four of them. There did seem to be a lot of near proposals, weddings, etc...

Hmmmm...

Blanche was going to get married in the series' Pilot episode, Dorothy was going to marry Jerry Orbach and eventually married Leslie Nealson. Sophia married Max Weinstock and Rose was with Miles. I'm sure there are more in there somewhere.

Dorothy was set to re-marry Stan until he asked her to sign a pre-nup, A rough-around-the-edges caterer was going to propose to Blanche until she told him they had too many differences; she realized too late that the differences didn't matter.

Yes, and having been born in Miami my family always laughed that no matter what time of the year it was they always wore sweaters.

Yeah really! I always laugh when Dorothy complains that it must be 110 out and she has on pants and a long sleev blouse.

They reminded me of the pictures I have of my older relatives on Miami Beach in the summers of the 40's and 50's wearing their furs.

I also like playing "spot the return guest actor" and counting the number of characters they've played.

For instance, one actress played both Frieda Klaxton (the mean lady who wanted to chop down Rose's favorite tree) and the mother of the woman who was possibly switched at birth w/ Dorothy.

Hey, I always thought that some of the stuff that Dorothy was really nice......especially in the later season......


Also, didn't Jack Gilford(I believe)the original Herr Schultz in Cabaret play Sofia's BF or something like that......I think I read that, but I don't think I've seen it yet, or least I didn't put 2 and 2 together when I saw it

yes, he played Max Weinstock, who Sophia married.
