Wow. I remember when I was a kid and being in awe of the "living" reenactments on Good Friday back home (most used plaster figures) but never did they actually "crucify" anyone.
On Good Friday dozens of very devout Catholics in the Philippines re-enact the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
