I am going to be in NYC for 5 weeks doing an acting intensive, but I don't want to lose any vocal technique. Along with my voice practice alone every day, are there any voice teachers that would teach 2-3 lessons over 5 weeks? Who? Gimme the deets! Also, is this a bad idea? Is this not normal to do? Would I be considered silly for wanting only a few lessons? Haha. Any help would be so appreciated! Thanks!

I have a voice teacher here in the city who I really like. I used to take temporary summer lessons with him, so he'd probably be willing to do the same for you. I'm not sure if he'd want his info posted publicly, though--PM or email me if you're interested and I'll give you contact info.

My understanding is that the program provides some pretty rigorous vocal work, in terms of your stage voice; might want to wait until you see how much you're doing before loading up too much...
