Conan is a huge White Stripes fan, but I thought their performance was awkward.

When he started getting choked up I started getting choked up too. =[

It was SO sad to see him that emotional. It was so moving.

There is just something about that man that screams sex. I once went to a live taping and it is one of my fondest NYC moments. So I'll miss the idea that he's here, in NY.

One of my all time favorite Conan segments is the masturbating bear. I remember when the news of him moving came around there were talks about how even though he loved that segment very much, he might have to let it go due to his new time slot. We shall see what happens.

Late Night with Conan was the only late night show other then The Daily Show and Colbert that I even found funny. Letterman and Leno just didn't do it for me.

I heard he can't bring the Masturbating Bear, and that he tried really hard but the censors wouldn't let him do it.

I went to NYC last summer and I planned on seeing Conan, but he was off the whole week because of the Olympics. I was so bummed. Luckily my sister lives in the LA area and I'll probably go see him when we come to visit her.

Conan is sexy as hell, I don't care what anyone says.

Shannon that was written schtick. Whether or not some of his characters will be allowed on the earlier slot has yet to be seen. How it works is, they get the script for the show, they rehearse it the censors then chime in with what is and is not appropriate for air.

I remember reading an interview with Conan when it was announced a while back that he would be moving. He said, that he loves the Masturbating Bear. But, even though he would love it if it is a skit he could use in his new show, he wouldn't be shocked if someone told him no.

As I said Winston, that decision will be made once the censors see the skit for the show. I am sure they will try to bring him back, he is after all a favorite character and has been on Late Night for quite a while.
It is funny what the censors will allow and what they won't. Sometimes it seems as if they change with the wind.
Prime time ends at 11 PM. There are shades of grey as to what happens from 11:30 on. If you watch SNL for example, their more suggestive skits always wind up at the end of the show after Update (recently the Wii/masturbation skit). He might be able to get away with things towards the end of the show. There is going to be an acclimation period once he starts the Tonight Show. He will have to see what they will allow and I am sure he and his writers will always try to push the envelope.
