After receiving an email from GrubHub today, I was disappointed to learn that they are no longer offering their food game Yummy Rummy after December. I always prefered to order my food from GrubHub over Seamless: they seemed like a more "hip" company, they offered you a one in four chance of scoring free food or money (I had won on occasion), and anytime there was a problem with your meal, they would take it upon themselves to call the restaurant for you and go through the hassle of getting the order correct (and oftentimes would refund the meal in GrubHub bucks.) Seamless makes you call the restaurant yourself. I order food online so I don't have to do that.

I had heard a while ago that Seamless had bought GrubHub. Do you think this is their way of eeking out the "competition" so that Seamless will be the dominant (and hopefully not only) food ordering service on the web in the future? What makes me most annoyed is their lack of any reasoning behind it. Not a "we have been struggling" or "many people complain about it" or "it's too much to handle on a daily basis." It just: nope, sorry, we're done.
Oh, GrubHub, How Could You?

I'm as jumpy as a virgin at a prison rodeo!
