Have any of you seen it?
It was a made for TV movie based on a series of books. It's this dark fantasy based story about a kitchen boy who wants to overthrow his kingdom. Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Bend it Like Beckham) is the main character. Came out a few years ago.

Rented it from Netflix a few years ago.
HATED it.
Not really a sci-fi fan...so that may be the cause. And was not familiar with the books...rented on the strength of BBC.
