Gossip Girl Books

Has anyone read these books. They are sooooo good!! I recommend it to any teenage girl or anyone who's a teenage girl at heart. I read the first 5 and now the 6th one came out so now I'm going to read that also.

re: Gossip Girl Books

I read one. I thought it was really inappropriate, and graphic. Theres a movie out of them, I think.

re: Gossip Girl Books

My 16 year old niece LOVES them and yes they are in the process of making a film. They are also making a film from the book "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"
It started with a sipmle idea, collecting one paper clip for every life lost, the feelings that connect us...are greater than those that divide us!

Read the first one, thought it was decent. Planned on buying the second one, but my mother got her hands on them and told me never to even think about reading one of them again.......Lol

re: Gossip Girl Books

read the first one, it was great! Wanted to read more, but... my mom read the back and saw the part where it says were the people sleep, sometimes with each other.

It can set a bad example, but when you just read it for entertainment it is fine. Girls under 13 should not read them.

re: Gossip Girl Books

I love these books! I have all of them, but I have only read the first two books. Actually, my mom read the first book after I read it, and she loved it so much that she went out and bought the rest of the series.

re: Gossip Girl Books

One of my filthiest, guilties pleasures. Too cheap to buy the 6th. I gotta see if the library has it yet.

re: Gossip Girl Books

These books are trashy chick lit, and I love them for it. So catty and fun. Don't they just make you want to claw someone's eyes out with fake nails? Anyway, totally a guilty pleasure.

I love the Gossip Girl series! My school is nothing like that, so it's fun to read. I hope no one takes it seriously though, lol.

re: Gossip Girl Books

No but I think Chad M. Murray would get Nate.

Edit: Of course, I have no idea what's going on with the movie production. For all I know someone else is.

re: Gossip Girl Books

I wanna find out who's going to be Serena. I mean who is that gorgeous!!! I can see Lindsey Lohan as Blair but it wouldn't have been my first pick. I hope Hilary Duff's not in it!!! AHHHHH!!
This is what I think of the GG books(remember it's only my opinion):
1st book- alright, pretty good
2nd book- best book in the series
3rd book- wasn't that good at all
4th book- 2nd best book in the series
5th book- just as good as the 1st or better
6th book- haven't read yet

No one would believe HD is drop dead gorgeous enough to make guys stop what they're doing and gawk.

I love this series. I truly is a guilt pleasure of mine. I still need to read books 5 and 6 though. The movie should prove interesting. I'm definitely questioning who they're going to cast in the roles in this film and "Sisterhood...." I enjoyed the 1st one in that series much more than the second which made me kind of sad. Liked it a lot as a whole though. :)

I read the first one and freaking loved it!

What the heck is everyone talking about? Are these trashy teen novels or something?
