I'm starting to look into grad schools to apply to. I'm looking to get either a MBA or an MFA in theatre/arts admin/performing arts management, but would much prefer a thesis track degree to a standard course curriculum. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might look (I'd also prefer to stay within the NY metro area if possible)? I'm a current Junior majoring in Arts Administration so I'd be sending in the application next fall, but would prefer to get everything done as early as possible. Thanks in advance,

The new "in" thing to do is get an MBA in addition to another graduate degree. Find out from the school how much extra work it would be to get an MBA and a MFA. You'll be MUCH more marketable.
A friend of mine is about to finish his Jurist Doctorate and his MBA.

Yes but how much farther "in" my pocket will that take me? You know theatre jobs...purse strings are rather tight. I'd rather take it one at a time and continue on after the first degree if possible
