You read the U2 thread?? Do you need a lofe?
(And if you had a crew of 155 commenting on the fact that she hasn't eaten in 9 years while stating the obvious - that you had - you'd be mortified too, no?)

I don't read the U2 thread - you must have posted it someplace else, but I don't remember where it was.
And darling, you SHOULD have eaten in the past nine years...that's the point...

Tiff! You Lady of the Canucks You, You Cracked The Code!
YES, Our 29th President, Warren G. Harding, stated in his opening campaign speech that he was going to return America to "Normalcy"

(Yep, Harding was GREAT at making up words--but as to picking honest men for his cabinet, WELL...
GREAT Job, Tiff!!!
Now for your bonus points:
What future President was the Democratic Nominee for Vice-President in 1920 (the year Harding was elected President)?

Rath? Tiff? LADIES? Are we having a "heated discussion" in an M.E. Thread?
Tsk Tsk...
#7re: Great Moments in History #1

...I guess Tiff had to leave us...
So ANYONE on the Board may answer:
Who was the Democractic Candidate for Vice-President in the 1920 Election?

Ok Rath... As Diane Chambers says on "Cheers": "Hate is not the opposite of Love. Indifference is."
I guess you and Tiff can be "loving" all you want...

Nope, I'm still around, I just don't know who the Veep was.
And Rath, I know it comes from love. I think I mentioned it on the Sample Sale thread. It's given me a complex.

F...D...R?
Rathie! My knuckles are wider than the flesh in between! How could my hand be too fat to be hers?? They said my index finger was "gnarled" because I had a slightly puffy cuticle! I can't diet my fingers!
(Auntie, I'm going to have nightmares from this. Not so much because I'm apparently too fat to be Lucy Liu's hand double, but because it was agreed upon by a bunch of mean Hollywood people!)

Posted: 9/16/05 at 1:31amLook at what those Hollywood people have done to Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate Olsen, Christina Ricci - shall I go on, or do you get it yet?

I get it, I get it. You're saying I should've finished off my moussaka platter, and the rice and pita that came with it.

Tiff!!! You are HOT Tonight!
YES, future president Franklin D. Roosevelt was the Democratic Candidate for Vice-President in the 1920 Election!
(But he and his running mate Cox lost to the Republican ticket of Harding & Coolidge in a HUGE landsldie)
CONGRATULATIONS Again, Tiff!
And your Prize?
Well, hey, you used to be a Newspaper Editor but now your President! You don't have A CLUE how to handle things, so you give all your best friends important jobs!
Unfortunately, they have all the morals of a Five Dollar Whore--and will get you in all kinds of legal trouble and stuff!
But DON'T WORRY--just as the truth comes out--you'll drop dead !
Enjoy the rest of your evening, folks!!!
