I can recommend a restaurant called Stout on 32 nd St between 7 th & 8 th Avenue
Many restaurants have tried & failed here. This is an Irish pub with great food - not an oxymoron.
They have many different beers. The first time there we had one of their burgers & fries with different types of cheeses. Yesterday, I dropped by & had a Bass & one of their pan pizzas. The whole pie is as thin as a couple of sheets of paper & they cut the whole pie into little pieces. You pop one in your mouth & no cheese dripping all over
A great lunch would be their buffalo wings, fries ( great ) & pizza & a couple of beers for 2. They also have a back with tables & a fireplace
Very good..
Thanks for the tip Mr Roxy. I may have to try that out when I am in New York two weeks from today! Love a good Irish pub.
Let me know what you think
By the way, it is 33 rd st & not 32 nd ..

Stout is pretty good, I had this shrimp/crab burger which was very good. One other meal that was good and one so-so.
But a very good beer selection and is a nice looking place
And a minor note, the toilets/sinks and hand dryer are all self activated. The first place that has all three no hands
