Hey gang, Ive been running around Lisbon, drinking lots of wine, eating fish, climbing hills and castles.
Some interesting architecture as well. Staying with friends which is really a wonderful experience (saw Ugly Betty in Portugese)
The keyboard is a bit different so excuse the punctuation.

At first I thought it was "Greetings from Jibson" which REALLY got my hopes up.

Have you tried the Red Wine & Coke yet?

I love Lisbon! You MUST stop by the Chinese Pavilion (Pavilhão Chinês) for a drink. Most extensive beverage menu I've ever seen and the atmosphere is utterly charming. And if you are near the Torre de Belem, be sure to stop by the Antiga Confeitaria de Belem for Pasteis de Nata. YUMMY!! I actually got a recipe and make them at home sometimes.

Have fun!!

I don't know if you're planning to go to Oporto as well (I hope you do), but if you do and want a fabulous dinner, check out Cafeina. One of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Seriously. The Beef Wellington was superb.

She won't be back here, not after the way she was treated.

But I'll send her your love!!

I do love her. I saw her in the show once. Or maybe even twice. Fabulous.

Lisbon is gorgeous!
Try to get to Sintra.
It's a Moorish/Victorian Palace with everything still inside.

Take in some Fado music. We went to the nightclub owned by singer Lenita Gentil, had dinner and heard her sing Fado, which is a Portuguese version of the blues. It was an amazing night we'll never forget.
