Walcott, the last surviving cast member of the Classic bad movie Plan 9 From Outer Space, has passed

He was in his 80's . He once said you wanted to be remembered for something. Although this is not what he had in mind, he said it is better to be remembered for this than not to be remembered at all

Slight correction: Conrad Brooks who played Patrolman Jamie in Plan 9 is still alive and working. I had a wonderfully boozy lunch with him back in the 90s. Loved him.
Just the thought of Gregory Walcott in the makeshift cockpit makes me smile.

You mean the cockpit with the car steering wheel & ratty drape hanging on a rod separating the cockpit from the rest of what is supposed to be the plane?

I love Criswell, even visited his grave in North Hollywood last December; however, I do not know Ticks in Tennessee. Please explain. I have a feeling I'm going to love it.

It was in an Ed Wood movie where he was making insane predictions. I will pass on the name of the movie when I track it down.

I would definitely love to know the name of the movie. I've seen all of Ed's films, but it's been a very long time. It may be time for a Plan 9-Bride of the Monster double feature.

Turns out it was a quote he made not about a movie as I thought. He was referring to ticks on a clock and something to do with nuclear munitions in Tennessee.

Thanks for clearing that up,Mr.Roxy. I'm originally from Tennessee, and it now makes perfect sense. He was referring to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, TN.

He made so many wacky predictions plus he was a member of Ed Wood's stock company I assumed it was from one of his "epics"
