I made a video for the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts today for Musical Theatre. And since I go to a performing arts high school, they made the video for us. But they only let us have one shot because you can't record over dvd's apparently. So I was wondering if any one has gotten into this and how well their video was. Mine was pretty good but I flubbed a line in the monolouge but covered it pretty well. And in the song I was used to doing a few kicks at the end but didn;t do them becuase I was scared I'd walk out of the camera's view and my feet were'nt in the shot anyway but I was moving my body as if my legs were moving, which they obviously weren't, and it looked insanely odd. So, if anyone's gotten into this, do you think I should try to find a piano player to pay to re-make it myself or do you think it wouldnt matter? Thanks in advance for any help. :)

I don't think it matters-- the chances of getting anything are extremely slim. The auditors probably don't know the monologue that well and will probably realize that your movement was altered choreography.

Really great things can come from going to Miami, we always get 2-4 theatre people from my school to Miami- and they all got into the most amazing schools because of connections they made with alot of directors of theatre programs there.
So if you don't feel your best about it, redo it! You also have about 1 week left, good luck.
It's true, chances are really slim, but you can always get merit or honorable mention.
