HELP PLEASE!!!

ok. my computer has been really slow lately, and i'm afraid that is either has or is getting a virus. i know that someone posted about the same problem before. i can't find it on the search. someone recommended a program that could help this problem. does anyone know what it is? thanks!

Try Norton Antivirus or McAffee VirusScan. You might also want to try downloading Spybot Search & Destroy.

At Download.com, you can get Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy. Run each of these, and delete everything they find unless you're sure it's necessary. Post if you're unsure. I also recommend you subscribe to an anti-virus service like Norton- it's worth the price.

No problem. Anything to make life a little more difficult for the ****s who write spyware, adware, viruses, etc.

ok i tried both spybot and norton. norton didn't detect anything,but spybot did. when i tried to fix the problem using spybot, it wouldn't work. this is driving my crazy. o well.
