So, as some of you know, I have my own blog on theatre. I'm working on moving from a blog to an actual site, nothing too fancy, but a homepage, rather than one huge page of articles. A few questions:

1. What's the best do-it-yourself program out there? I've found a few online and on Amazon, but unsure which is the simplest.

2. I already own my domain, but how do I upload the new program onto my blog?

THanks in advance.

The best program is Dreamweaver, but you have to buy in a package all together is $1000. You could look on eBay.

All the answers you need are here, including recommendations for page design programs and step by step tutorials on how to use them.

eta: you don't need to buy Dreamweaver in a package. It's available separately for $399.00

Of course there are always...more creative ways of getting these things. re: HELP! A few quesions about Web Design.

On adobe.com you can get a free 30 day trial of Dreamweaver for 30 days. You can then study the tags and learn how to update yourself. There are also a lot of free online templates.

Dreamweaver is horrible. I managed to get a surprising amount of success out of a free program called AOLPress, but to get anything good, I did need to self-tutor in the arts of HTML, and CSS is still a blur to me. I'm happier just blogging my socks off these days. XD
