HELP: Couch Surfing Apr.1-6

ATTENTION NEW YORKERS!

I'm hoping to spend 5-6 days in NYC over Spring Break (April 1-6). I DO HAVE the ability to buy a hotel room... but want to save as much money as possible. Therefore...

Do you or anyone you know have the ability to house me? I only need a couch.

I've joined Couch Surfing.com and have found a few people that fit right up my alley but I've not contacted them yet. I'm looking for someone who lives in or near Midtown who knows the ropes about the subway and getting around Broadway/Central Park area, and can refer me to the other noteworthy site-seeing areas. Not looking for a chaperone. Just a place to crash for each night. I'm super friendly, excitable, nice. I will help out around the house, I'm very very clean and organized, quiet and appreciative. Will help with expenses.

I want to see as many shows as possible, visit stage doors, visit the Park and other noteworthy NYC locations and site-seeing locations. I just NEED to get to NYC and Spring Break is open for me.

I've not done anything yet as far as purchasing tickets because I'm still just figuring it out. If it comes down to it, I can buy a hotel no problem. But help out a poor college student!
