Hey,
I'm auditioning for Violet and they're calling for two contrasting songs in the style of jazz, folk, blues, bluegrass, gospel, or country. I do not really know any shows that well with these type of styles. If you could give me some suggestions, I am a tenor if that helps. Thanks

well, I really don't know much about this show (have post on it here), but I heard some songs from the off broadway version of The Wild Party and they have some jazzyish songs.
Go to mti.com to get some previews of the songs... I like em and they got a jazz feel. Dunno bout any other shows with that type of music tho, can't think bout it too mcuh right now tho... cuz gotta get goin.
