i am also auditioning for a show. HONK! I want the role of IDA and am an alto with a range from about an e sharp below middle C and up to around an f sharp above high C

Honk is one of my Favs!-I love the music its so fun and inviting..And poultry tale is such a good opener...Its easy to cruise through but there a re really good choices people can make to make the show that much better!
anyways good luck! ida has some great songs...everytear a mother cries,hold your head up high...love em!

I have the same range and I got cast as Lowbutt. I think it's whatever suits your acting style the best. Good luck on your audtion! We start blocking in January...

Our Ida is an alto so you should be fine...

Our Ida was an alto! She was amazing! So i think if your personality fits the role, you could get cast as Ida. Anyways, good luck!
