I saw this on a screen at the airport earlier and I've just found a full article:
Australian PM calls for ban on HIV Positive Immigrants

well, I do believe the German State of Bavaria will not allow an HIV foreigner to emigrate to Bavaria.......the only German state with such a stupid law

I can't believe those HIV people that contracted the disease via sexual promiscuity weren't thinking about their loved ones when they were having unprotected sex! HOW SELFISH!

Don't get me started on this stupidity!

But, unfortunately, he has the support of the Australian public, so he'll get this one through...

Only a few more months, and then we get to vote this @sshole out!

Unfortunately, I'd say it's going to stick...as I said, the Australian public seems to be supporting it. And I can't understand why...

We're such a progressive country, but have such a backward administration. And unfortunately, on issues like this, the public tends to just listen to the media/government, and not actually think about the PEOPLE that are affected...

Is he thinking this is some how going to stop the spread of AIDS in the country? Or is it b/c of the stain HIV positive people may cause on social srvcs?
