I was in a bookstore and came across this. This may, in fact, be a new low. A novelized version of a musical. I don't even know how you can do that.
"Good Morning Baltimore!," Tracy sang joyfully with a gleam in her eye. "Every day is like an open door!"

There was one for Dreamgirls, too.
I used to love the movie novelizations when I was a kid.

I remember a few years ago there was a Curb Your Enthusiasm book. Noone knew much about it and I thought it was going to be a novelization.
"Yes, I AM your n*," replied Larry, with a hope that Kray-zee Eyez Killah would not be able to detect the thick beads of nervous sweat running down his whitebread neck.

Posted: 8/22/07 at 6:31pmI read BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and BATMAN RETURNS, as well as ADVENTURES IN BABY-SITTING and GREMLINS. Also, I found a novelization of WEST SIDE STORY, which was very insightful.
