Happy 30th Anniversary, Saturday Night Fever

It was on this day in 1977 that Satuday Night Fever had it's world premiere ay Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

It premiered in New York City on December 14, and opened wide two days later.

The movie (and it's fifteen time platnium selling soundtrack) defined the disco era, and launched John Travolta's career into the stratosphere.

It remains to this day my favorite movie of all time.
