Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs premiered on December 21, 1937.
(great footage of the premiere in the link!)
Happy Birthday to the Disney Princess
Oh, I think I have to haul out the DVD tonight!
Those Micky and Minnie costumes are terrifying.
AAAAHH now I'm torn: I've been holding off on It's a Wonderful Life and was planning on watching that tonight. Now I may have to switch...
Thanks for posting, Addy! A great opportunity to revisit the film tonight. Happy 75, Snow White!

Someone earlier on U-Tube found a rare interview with Adriana Caselotti.

OMG! If the movie is 75 years old, how old is Marge (Blecher) Champion who modeled for Snow White in the Disney Studios? She's still around. I met her at a cocktail party earlier this year.
And it still feels more modern than many movies of its era.
Marge was 18 I believe when she married head animator Art Babbit which was the year she did the modelling for them...
And this is why I love BWW...... I watched it a few times today, what a fantastic film! The 21st also doubles as the 75th anniversary of full length animated features. Thank you Walt!
Haven't seen the film since the 50th birthday screenings in Australia, that would have to be one of the best cinema going days ever. Packed theatre with 600 people having the time of there lives.
I have to admit that I may be the only person on the planet who has never seen "It's A Wonderful Life"
The dwarfs must now be on Social Security by now.
And Sigourney Weaver is looking a bit long in the tooth in her Snow White costume in VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE. (Hummel figure, indeed.)
