Being about 96% Irish, and seeing that it is March 17th, I thought I'd offer everyone a happy St. Patrick's Day and start pouring.
What's your pick?
Bailey's?
Bailey's and creme?
Bailey's mudslide?
Bailey's and coffee?
Irish coffee?
Oh..by the way..if you're going to wear green today..WEAR IT TASTEFULLY. Don't attempt to see how much green you can possibly wear. Light touches work best...Stacey and Clinton would say that.

Just to get the ball rolling here......

Ok ok..for all you beer drinkers out there....
Are there many of you? *shudder*
Princeton, darling, TASTEFUL? Absolutely!
I'm Irish on my Dad's side, so am proudly sporting the green today. A smart Ann Taylor jacket in the lime green that has been popular of late.
And, thanks for the drink. I think I'll start with some coffee, with a bit of Bailey's on the side!
Cheers, and Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ra to you, my dear!
I have green on -- but one would have to get to my boxers to see it!
In about an hour the block my office is on will fill with bad marching bands and dueling bagpipes....tylenol now please!
"I have green on -- but one would have to get to my boxers to see it!"
oh, K... that's quite an invitation on BWW!
I'll just take your word for it...
Happy St. Patty's day to you, too, me dear!
Oh my...K.
So when are you letting us all see? Is the showing sold out yet? Darn..I bet it's harder to get a ticket to than "Wicked."
Addy -- a man has to do SOMETHING to get on the BWW people you'd like to meet lists!
Princeton -- now if it were as popular as wicked, you 'd be calling me an Irish Tramp...hmm, that has a familiar ring to it!
Hmm..it does for me too.
My green is a pale green Brooks Brothers button-down.
You're the top of the list, sweetie!
Wonder how many people will go to Wicked today wearing green? frightening thought...
Whaa duth thu thinggk I woullld be dinking Bailuhs thissss earleee in the morrrrning Princy?
(And I enjoy my Bailey's in a B-52 coffee.)
Oh Tiff..it's once a year..you'll be fine.
Princeton, once again you are the perfect host. (hic)
I am doing a bit o' the wearin' of the green, today myself.
Cheers, me laddy!!
And what would St. Patick's be without a song....
O Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen and down the mountainside
The summer's gone and all the roses falling
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide.
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
O Danny boy, O Danny boy, I love you so.
But if ye come and all the flowers are dying
If I am dead, as dead I well may be,
You'll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an Ave there for me.
And I shall hear, though soft, your tread above me
And all my grave shall warmer, sweeter be
For you will bend and tell me that you love me
And I will sleep in peace until you come to me.

or....
How about an up temp tune...
It's A Great Day For The Irish
It's a Great Day for the Irish,
It's a great day for the fair!
The sidewalks of New York are thick with blarney,
For sure you'd think of New York was ol' Killarney!
It's a great day for the shamrock,
For the flags in full array.
We're feeling so inspirish,
Sure because for all the Irish,
It's a Great, Great, DAY!

after a few bailey's and/or pints of these -- all the songs will be sung -- uptempo and the sad ones!
I've got green skivvies on too... though the inner waistband says something special... :)
Verse 1:
Tommy was a soldier, who had joined the volunteers,
And when he marched away to war his eyes were filled with tears.
For 'way back home in Ireland, He'd left his sweet Colleen,
The pride of Tipperary His little Irish Queen,
And ev'ry night by campfir bright, of her he'd dream and sing.
CHORUS:
I'm a long way from Tipperary
I'm a long way from Mary dear
And I long for my Irish Fairy
And her sweet voice that brings me cheer,
She has promised that we would marry
And I hope that the day is near
I'm a long, long way from Tipperary
But I wouldn't care if Mary dear were here.
Verse 2:
Mary sent a letter to her little soldier boy,
'Twas just a little message but it filled his heart with joy.
She said I love you Tommy, For you each night I pray.
I long for you returning from the battle front each day,
Then Tommy wrote a little note to Mary dear to say.
Okay AndyHardy--that was the easy part. Now can you give us the Roger Edens special material? (Maybe JF has the lyrics online?)
mmmmmm........Guiness....Love for the Irish by this Irish-gal. Got a lovely cute lime green tee that says Twinkle, Twinkle, I am a star. Happy to St.Pat's to all my fellow Irishmen.
I"m writing limericks as we speak.
For real..
Actually, I'm teaching others how to write them..and getting paid for it.
Bailey's on ice.....
How nice to have walked into work today to find steaming pots of Irish tea and several Irish breads laid out. I'm not used to that kind of pampering. Now if only there were some Baileys...Oh well...3pm will be here soon enough!
I'm debating going to lunch with my friends who have taken the day off for the NCAA (Go 'Cuse!) and are at a pub crowded around the tele.
I'd never come back to work though.
