Well, as another birthday draws to a close, I want to thank my BWW pals for their kind words and their carefully chosen photos. I meant to mention earlier that that picture of Natasha so totally evokes Mrs Sally Durant Plummer to me that I'm completly certain she should be my film Sally. And Carly Jibson! and John Waters as the Whitmans made me literally laugh out loud in BOTH of my birthday threads!

To everyone who took the time to post on this thread, I sincerely thank you. As crazy as this site makes me (yet I can't stay away...) it's introduced to to some incredible people.

I tried to choose photos of each proposed cast member of FOLLIES THE MOVIE MUSICAL that were appropriate to the character. (I so think Beyonce and Vanessa are perfect for Young and Old Phyllis!) As I mentioned, I spent about 2 hours at work "putting it together." (Sorry. Bad pun. It's late. And the painkillers are kicking in.)

But don't worry. I won't lose my job because I stayed two extra hours. That's just the kind of gal I am!

I don't tell you any of this to make you feel bad, but, rather, so that you feel wonderful...because, truly, it was a labor of love.

I hope I don't have to wait until 2011 to see you again. In fact, I hope I don't have to wait until 2009 to see you again.

Inspired by you, Miss P (and by the way, I totally always thought B could be Young Phyllis to Vanessa), I used my (poor) photo doctoring skills to give an approximation of how I think Losing My Mind would look.

And those pictures all were perfect. Vanessa looks so Phyllis, that Natasha pic really evokes Sally, etc. When I make the movie, you will totally be my art director.
