Thanks guys! My birthday was looking pretty sad until I got my hippo birdies, gifts from the cows, and of course the not needed, but still appreciated encouragement to spend time with Barbra Jean. 
Today has been good though. Had classes, went to work- got off early AND found out that because I have been doing other people's work for them and that it is showing that I will be getting a pretty decent raise (imagine that a job rewarding people for their work- I thought that was a myth...)and then I had a nice dinner with my family and my best friend. Over all its been a good day. This was just the icing on my yummy birthday cake.
I love you guys!

I got some money from some of my relatives, loads of stuff for my future classroom, a watch, a necklace, a purse, two beautiful silver interlocking bracelets from my best friend that also interlock with her's (think classy, adult version of friendship bracelets), and from my hubby I am getting a day at the spa.

I was informed by a 6 year old (who shares my birthday) that I am officially old now. Had it come from anyone less adorable I would have been offened, but she was so cute about it.

awww...I just turned 22 on Aug 21st and people told me I have nothing to look forward to except death.
