(I'm pretty sure the caption is wrong in this one and that the woman is Marti Rolph)

No pictures of Harvey Evans?
Happy birthday, fellow Follies fan.
I know you've seen this, but, really--seems I see it, everywhere I go. Oh...

I think it's appropriate for the drops to come flying in again, because Loveland is upon us in here
Thank you for thinking of me and all of the warm Follies-related goodies. Company thanks you from exile too, but unfortunately Lucy and Jessie didn't come together this time and we've just got Rosecoe here to celebrate. But I am appreciative of all the interesting conversations, theories, goodies, information, and stories shared on here: particularly regarding Follies. You're all wonderful!

Posted: 5/10/08 at 8:59pmIs it weird how someone scribbled out the heads of the showgirls in that last picture of the young four?

Aw, Lady Rosecoe, I didn't realize it was your birthday on the 9th.
HAPPY Belated BIRTHDAY!
I owe you that LOVEMUSIK thing I told you about, just been lazy about uploading things to my computer. Hope you had a spectacular birthday!
And now we can all get pumped up about that FOLLIES movie, yay!
I miss C is for Company

I had a nice chat with Harvey Evans in the lobby of City Center last night. He hadn't seen the YouTube of the "You're Gonna Love Tomorrow/Love Will See Us Through" from the David Frost show, but he said that Kurt Peterson called him and told him that it was great.
I thought that was sweet.

Ray, thank you so much for the kind words, it was a very nice day for me and don't feel any pressure over the LoveMusik thing. When the Follies movie comes out, we're all going to meet up in Times Square and watch it together on the big screen and wear sashes displaying the year we first fell in love with Follies.
Nice story with Harvey PJ! Did he enjoy the show? Did you get excited seeing your Buddy?

Thank you Glebby!
Perhaps there's a correlation between the age the bug hits you, I see a trend. It was always late high school/early college that you seem to get hooked. I bought the cd in eleventh grade, was not a fan at all and will admit I thoroughly disliked it except for the Dorothy Collins songs. Then a year later I really started appreciating it and by college, the love was full-fledged. I thank Dorothy for starting me up and for that she's always been my favorite gal.

I think I was 19, so my big sign will display, let's see, 2006? I'm such a FOLLIES newbie. I was 18 when I first fell for "Could I Leave You?" and "I'm Still Here" but I didn't like the rest of the songs. Then I don't remember how I got to listen to "Losing My Mind" and "Too Many Mornings," and fell in love with those, and the rest is history.
PJ, your stories are always so fascinating.
