As it is May 30th across the pond, where our pattifan lives, it seems appropriate that we should start to celebrate his birthday now!

How lovely is this! I open cards and pressies and now such lovely birthday wishes from my favourite people. Addy, you have made the sunshine for me today. Hehe(do I sound excited?). I'm off out to lunch in a few so will toast my BWW friends. I really do appreciate this! Wow! thanks for the cake, Rath and the flowers and bubbly, Addy. Glebb, always so lovely to hear from you (I always imagine you leaping with joy all the time), Elpheba - glad Hyacinth dropped by! Jerby, lovely to see you...Daydreamer - images of Adam ALWAYS fill my head...Liotte, Bwaygirl and Bluemoon are always good to hear from. Cookie - your wishes always mean such a lot. And I've just baked a wonderful Williams-Sonoma Chocolate Truffle cake to cut when we're back from lunch. It has been declared the OFFICIAL birthday cake.
