The southern part. Anyway, that was 50 years ago so I don't count it!

(That comment was specifically directed to the MANY living dolls who occupy too much space in our beloved DC. Those talking dolls with stuffed bodies and empty heads in positions of authority. I'm even wishing THEM a happy fourth!)

My friend Annette has a party every 4th and she's British.
Macy*s literally parks their barges outside her terrace and its an amazing place to watch the fireworks.

The funny thing is that 85% of the people at the party are Brits.
i asked Annette "Are you celebrating or mourning the loss of the colonies?"

Happy 4th from another born and bred southern Ohioan...although I've lived in Michigan now longer than I lived in Ohio..Go Blue!!
