liotte... kayaking is so awesome up here in the NW. You can go up by the San Juan islands and actually get really close to the Orcas. (I've not been that lucky though)

Quick dolphin story - I went to see the dolphins at the Mirage in Las Vegas - and ended up getting thrown out when they found me swimming naked with the most glorious 12-footer named Merlin. But not until I had had a good 15 minutes to swim and play with him

Liotte... you should make your way to Seattle and we can go kayaking. There's lot of places. You can do an "urban" kayaking thing from Lake Union (where the house from Sleepless in Seattle is) to Lake Washington, going through the arboretum and by the University of Washington. OR go up to the San Juan Islands (3 hrs.?) and go kayaking on the Puget Sound up there. There's lots and lots of kayaking opportunities around here. You'll might want to wear a wet suit, though, 'cause the water's pretty cold year round.

I don't know, DG...I think I'd be a little careful swimming naked around critters with teeth that are used to eating light-colored slender fish for snacks...

Sounds like I missed a real party here. (so sad!) I hope Comcast can manage to stay up tonight. For the past 3 nights the entire server goes down through out the entire town. (that makes me very angry!)
