Wearing a red ribbon pin isn't going to stop AIDS. Protecting yourself(using a condom) is the only way.

Wearing a red ribbon pin will spread awareness and hopefully remind people that they SHOULD be using protection and getting tested, are you for real?

I don't understand why you would make a comment like that gringas. I didn't say anything against anyone. All I said was I have sympathy to those who are born with AIDS and those who get it through infected blood( through no fault of their own)(blood transfusions). What's wrong with that?

You hit it right on the button, people (in general) don't think. All they think about is the heat(passion) of the moment.
The implication is that people who get AIDS by other means (drugs, unprotected sex) had it coming. Do you honestly believe those people deserve AIDS?

If they pratice safe sex(using protection) than they wouldn't get AIDS. If your referring to those who use dirty drug needles, I'm not saying that they deserve it, but shouldn't they stop to think what they're doing by sharing a 'dirty needle'?They say the only way to get it is through saliva, sexual contact(unprotected sex), or using dirty needles. But funny how people say that you can't get it through a fly. I find that hard to believe. Considering that flies are dirty and go from biting one person to the next. Makes you think.....doesn't it?

No one deserves Aids nor does anyone deserve cancer, ALS, or any other disease

To coin a phrase "You are in a world of ****" on this board
I will remember you in my prayers
""When we were doing our first fund-raising benefits almost 20 years ago, we never imagined the fight would have to be renewed all these years later."
"Actually, the bravest among us were doing our first benefits 24-25 years ago.""
Good God, Namo, does everything have to be about how much better, stronger, and faster you are? When I moved to NYC and got involved in the Broadway community, Equity Fights AIDS was just beginning and I, along with a business partner, produced one of the very first Broadway cabarets for that organization. 100% of the proceeds (unprecedented, by the way) went to EFA. From there, we moved on to much bigger venues, celebs, and funds raised.
I'm sorry if my "late" arrival to the party (to NY) is not up to your standards, but we all did what we could. Why must you be a divisive force even here?

Gringas stands by his original statement, RTFan.
And once again you all give this pompous ASS loser another 15 minutes of fame. And believe me the first 15 were quite enough for me.
Quit feeding the fire and it will eventually burn out.
