Posted: 6/7/04 at 2:34pmWell, they are already on Week 2 of filming and its a one film deal. Then the debate is to keep the kids or replace them. I can not reinvest in all new actors. I think they will destroy the series if they replace the kids

Well... if they keep on this schedule, I can't wait for the last one. By then Emma Watson will be a very attractive ingenue.
She's a very pretty girl, going to be a beautiful woman in a few years.

I remember that Columbus and a couple of others wanted it to be a 2 parter way before Kill Bill proved that it could be done successfully. (Unlike the Matrix's relative flop).
I also read today in EW that Cuaron had convinced them to make it one film--perhaps how to make it work. It better be a long film--there is WAY too much story to cut.
