I really enjoyed it. But my initial shock was enough to cause a heart attack in an older or fatter man.

I have a horrible feeling that it would get as big as Wicked was (is) with throngs of tweens flooding the messages boards with "OMG! Harry is like, soooooooooooo hot and Idina should totally be Hermione because her voice is like, OMG amazing."

Don't get me wrong, the books are well written and Idina is a girl with a killer voice, but I'm a little sick of books and movies being turned in shows. Lots of them turn out well, but I'd really really like to see something new and fresh.

Amusing, but very cheesy. I must say that Harry Potter as a musical would on the positive side, bring more kids to Broadway, but the bad side is that we will just have more bad audience behavior.

Speaking of which, did anyone else catch a person with their cell- phone taking a photo with it!? Anyone?

Cheesy '80s hits... exactly. But I guess the 20 year "what's old is new" curse means we'll hear a LOT more.
