In light of "49 Up!" being released slowly across the country, I finally Netflixed the earlier ones and have been emersed in them this week. Last night, watched "21 Up!" and have "28 Up!" waiting to be watched tonight or tomorrow.
Anyway, I find them completely fascinating. I admit, watching them one after the other defeats the purpose a bit, but seeing them change from adorable children, to awkward teens to young adults has been such a cool experience. Neil breaks my heart, such a fragile child. His journey has touched me the most. I'm also fascinated by Bruce, who is modest and shy. Suzy, the angry rich girl...there's something to her pain.
Has anyone seen "49 Up!" yet? It's playing in Chicago next week, so I hope I get through the next few films in time to see it in the theater.

Yes! 49 Up is awesome! One of the best docs I've seen all year.
